The "Streetartexperiment"
The "streetartexperient" is a projekt, I started in November 2018.
I show my paintings at public places. The pictures mostly are framed and they always hang at one location for less than 24 hours!
I never destroy the location, so I use magnets, cords and hooks instead of glue or nails. I want to create streetart without vandalism.
Than I add a note with some informations.
The reactions:
It's called "experiment", because I want to see how the people will react. Sometimes I watched the reractions from some meters ago.
As I expected, a lot of people doesn't noticed the pictures. But then something happend, that made me happy. People have stopped,, they have formed small groups in front of my painting and some hours later I found photos of my painting in the Internet. Photographed, by strangers.
Than, some days and some outdoor exhibitons later, I got an interview by WDR, for the local TV. They made a report about the Streetartexperiment and showed it on the 3rd of
January 2019, in the "Lokalzeit aus Bonn".
In the meanwhile I got intervied by media-students of the University Bonn. They made a documentation about Streetart in Bonn and an art-student will write a semester work about my streetartexperiment.
An other artist in Bonn copied the Streetartexperiment, excactly in the way I did it. We plan to make a exhibition together soon.
Also other artists from asked if they could make it in their citys.
